Foam Jacking Is Environmentally Safe

Polyurethane Foam—The Greener Choice

We know that being conscious of your environmental impact is a priority for many Denver homeowners. From insulation to solar panels, homeowners are making the choice to switch to more energy-efficient and environmentally friendly materials, thus reducing their footprints on the Earth. That is why we have ensured that our patented polyurethane foam is the greenest option currently available on the market for foam leveling.

There were a few different aspects of our foam that we took into consideration when designing it to make sure it is as environmentally friendly as possible.

Non-Toxic

There is a lot of misinformation being spread about the nature of the polyurethane foam we use for our foam leveling process. Some people may believe that the chemicals used are toxic to either the environment or to those living around the process. However, this could not be farther from the truth.

The materials used to create our polyurethane foam are completely non-toxic. In fact, our foam has even passed all the requirements of the FDA and the USDA for incidental food contact. Additionally, our foam has been approved safe for burials and landfill disposal, meaning it is approved for underground installation.

Recyclable

One of the biggest ways to reduce the environmental impact of an object is to recycle and reuse components whenever possible. We have done this with our polyurethane foam. The building blocks of our foam are all made from recycled materials, therefore contributing to its “green” classification. Repairing your concrete instead of replacing it is also a way to help the recycling process. By not having to rip out and pour new concrete, you are eliminating the need to send the old concrete to a landfill, where it will remain taking up space for many years.

Inert

Another factor that contributes to the “green” classification of our polyurethane foam is just how quickly it cures and becomes inert. When our foam is injected into the ground, it forms a barrier around itself to prevent any extraneous foam from leaking into other parts of the ground. This allows the foam to cure without any outside influence from water or soil elements. Furthermore, this barrier prolongs the life of the foam, meaning your concrete repair will last longer, saving you time and materials in the long run.

Stronger

The polyurethane foam we use in our foam leveling process is much stronger and less invasive than mudjacking. A smaller amount of foam than mudjacking slurry can be used to complete the same job. Because the foam has a tremendous lifting power compared to how heavy the foam itself is, less material is needed. As a smaller amount of foam is needed to do the same job as other lifting materials, we can reduce the environmental impact of making more materials.

See For Yourself

Don’t just take our word for it – we are happy to explain to you the details of our foam leveling procedure and how that process can be applied to your specific concrete leveling job. We are proud to use the greenest polyurethane foam currently available on the market, and we would love to help you reduce your environmental footprint by choosing our material to work with.
